Petanque is also known around the world as Boules. It can be played
outdoors by everyone no matter what their age or athletic ability All
it takes to play is three steel balls and one small wooden ball called
a cochonnet.
Players throw their steel balls in attempt to get closest to the cochonnet,
the player with their ball(s) closest to the cochonnet wins the points,
in a similar manner to lawn bowls.
